Belief

Do you find yourself writing a long to-do list every day, ticking everything off your list but still feeling like you’re not really making progress?

This is because our actions do not create our results, our beliefs do.

We can end up feeling really frustrated and burned out when we keep showing up and taking action, and not getting our desired result. This happens when our thoughts are not aligned with our actions, so we keep forcing our way through our to-do’s every day and we end up exhausted. We can’t outrun our beliefs.

If you’re feeling this way it isn't a problem, we just need to change the approach. Imagine your beliefs are the foundations, we need to go back and build the foundations, once we have our foundations (our belief) we can then start building, we do this by taking actions that will grow our belief, everyday.

When you’re practicing believing something new the key is not just to think it, it is to really FEEL it in your body. This is the game changer.

Your brain does not know when something is real or not. If you have practiced believing enough you will feel it in your body before it happens, this is when you will start living it and behaving like it has already happened… then it happens because you are in perfect alignment.

For quite some time I thought I was growing my belief, but I got frustreted because nothing was changing, this is when I realised I was actually just practising thinking about it by repeating the thought. Feeling it was the missing piece of the puzzle for me.

Put your to-do list to one side and start dedicating 10 minutes everyday to really believing in your goal, then throughout the day keep bringing your attention back to your new beliefs

5 steps to design your belief blueprint

  1. Think about what you need to believe today in order to achieve your goal or to grow your belief, write them all down.

  2. From the list pick your top three and write them on a post it note and pop it somewhere you will see it all day

  3. Close your eyes and really feel into the beliefs that you have written on the post it note. Spend time here, make sure you are so focused on believing that you feel it in your body

  4. Throughout the day keep bringing your attention back to your belief, focus on the possibility that your beliefs could be true

  5. Notice what steps you are compelled to take when you are truly believing. Sometimes we might end up still taking the same steps, but notice how the energy is different, it will feel totally different and it will yield different results.

Your life is a manifestation of your beliefs, so if you want things to change, bring it back to the belief level to start seeing real results!
